After 154 shows all over the world, Justin Bieber has decided to cancel the rest of his “Purpose” tour, with 14 pre-scheduled concerts remaining.

His fans are now eager to know the reason, after an official message on Facebook cited “unforeseen circumstances.”

The 23-year-old singer has been touring the world since March 2016, so after so long, it’s understandable that he would want to rest.

Justin Bieber’s tour was set to conclude with a run of Asian concerts, including in Hong Kong, Tokyo, the Philippines and Singapore. These concerts are now cancelled.

According to TMZ, a tour source said Bieber is “just over it”, though Bieber himself did not personally address the cancellation on social media, yet.

The people behind Bieber’s Facebook page, however, used a more cryptic term as a reason, and promised the disappointed fans a refund:

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts.

Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run.

However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”

Justin Bieber’s fans took to social media to voice their concerns, but while some were devastated, others called to give Bieber some much-needed rest.
