Matthew McConaughey is, without a doubt, quite hot. And he was particularly hot back in 2012, when he starred in male stripping biopic Magic Mike –Â where he had to show quite a lot of his body.
So, it’s only understandable to wonder – did he have to manscape? And how much exactly? Seven years later – we finally get an answer…
Magic Mike was based on the real-life experiences of Channing Tatum who worked as a stripper before becoming an actor. Other than Tatum, the film starred Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Alex Pettyfer and Matthew McConaughey.
This week, Matthew McConaughey was a guest on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. A caller phoned in to ask “How much manscaping was required for Magic Mike…”
First, Matthew had to be educated on what manscaping actually means. “There wasn’t much to remove on the chest”, he begins his answer.
“You seem like a full bush kind of dude”, Andy adds, and Matthew concurs – “Birthday suit God gave you!”.
So yes – there was manscaping. Though, he didn’t need as much as some of the other actors…
