Earlier this week, Nick and Demi Lovato announced they would cancel their shows in North Carolina, in protest of the recent state’s anti-LGBT law. Following that statement, Nick has given an interview to Queerty, where, among other things, he was asked whether he might visit gay clubs again:

It’s always a good time going and hanging out at the gay clubs. When Demi and I went in New York we had a lot of fun, so it could happen.

He was also asked it the “gay cock tease” label could be applied to him. His answer:

No, I don’t think so. I’ve been pretty clear with my heart and my nature of just wanting to be as supportive of my gay fans as they’ve been of me. So there’s definitely not any cock teasing going on.

If anything I hope I can be a real ally for the LGBT community and I’m thrilled to be in a spot where I feel like there’s a lot of mutual love and respect.

We respect you (and your perfect body) too, Nick!
