Coming out to your parents is sometimes a difficult, time-consuming process. And sometimes, it involves them walking in on you naked, watching gay porn. OOPS.
But at least in this case – embarrassing as it was – it all ended with a wonderful reaction from the mother. And if that’s not all – this was his SECOND incident with family and gay porn.
This all happened to this guy on Reddit, who outed himself to his parents in, possibly, the worst possible way other than being caught actually having gay sex.
“A few days ago my mother bought a bluetooth speaker and I’ve been using it to listen to music”, he writes. And that’s when things got crazy.
“Today I decided to connect it to my desktop computer and all was going fine until I turned it off and went downstairs to charge it before returning to my room to watch some (you guessed it) hardcore gay porn.
I was doing this through headphones pretty furiously beating my meat and then suddenly the audio disappeared, but i just kept going because I was really in the moment.
A few seconds later my parents bust into my room because they’d turned the speaker on and it was blasting the audio at a very loud volume downstairs with all the windows open attracting attention from outside.
I didn’t even know they were at home. They came into my room to me with porn on a 21 inch screen and a dick in my hand.
I actually fell off my chair and they just left the house.”
A few hours later, the guy was back with an update – after his parents came back home.
“They came back a few hours ago and I did say ‘I suppose you don’t need me to tell you that I’m gay’.
And all my mother said was that I should’ve told her before and then I wouldn’t have had so many years of her asking when I’m getting a girlfriend.”
But wait – this isn’t even the first time a thing like that happens to this guy. A similar incident, also involving gay porn – was also the way he was outed to his sister.
“I was already out to my sister after another unfortunate porn related occasion on which she was helping me with online maths homework.
I didn’t realise that when I was typing numbers into the URL bar to remember them for a question that it was coming up to suggest a Pornhub video that was very clearly as gay as anal between two consenting men.”
Being out to your family is great – but this guy should probably learn to hide his porn viewing habits better…
