A few weeks ago we all shed tears of joy when Olympic diver Tom Daley got engaged to his boyfriend, filmmaker Dustin Lance Black. Now, we’re finally getting some details about the actual proposal, and an answer to the question that was on all our minds – who popped the question?
In an interview with The Evening Standard, Daley says it took him months to find the right opportunity to propose. Eventually, he decided to do it at Black’s house in Hollywood – but that led to a surprise.
“I took the ring with me from London. Lance was surprised, but then went and got the ring he’d bought for me.”
So basically, it turns out they BOTH proposed to each other…
