When you’re Zac Efron, or at least look like Zac Efron, it’s assumed you won’t have any problems in apps such as Grindr and Tinder. But when the REAL Zac Efron tried find a date on Tinder… he failed miserably.
In an interview with The Sunday Times, Zac explains why he can’t date like a regular person, and what happened when he actually did try to sign up for Tinder.
“Dating is something I’ll never be able to do… Amazingly, when I signed up for Tinder, nobody swiped me! They thought it was fake.”
In the interview, Zac also talks about his battle with depression and alcoholism, and why he no longer manages his own Twitter and Instagram accounts:
“I lost my mind because of the internet. I’d read 30 positive things and one bad thing, then I’d harbour that bad thing. It drove me crazy.”
